赵绍阳 教授

主讲人简介: 赵绍阳，四川大学2026世界杯官网教授、博导，院长助理、金融系系主任、实验室主任。研究方向为健康经济学、银发经济与养老金融。先后获得3项国家级项目资助（国家自然科学基金青年项目1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目2项），发表中英文论文60多篇，其中多篇成果发表在《经济研究》、《管理世界》、《经济学季刊》、《世界经济》、《中国工业经济》、《统计研究》以及《Journal of Comparative Economics》、《China Economic Review》等经济学权威期刊。担任《经济研究》、《经济学季刊》、《管理世界》、《中国工业经济》、《世界经济》、《经济学动态》、《中国人口科学》、《中国农村观察》、《经济评论》、《Journal of Health Economics》、《Health Economics》等期刊的匿名审稿人，以及国家自科基金青年、面上项目评议专家。先后入选四川省“天府青城计划”、四川大学双百人才计划。

讲座摘要：We examine the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on decision quality and efficiency in the context of outpatient physicians. The AI-assisted Antibiotic Decision Support System we study provides real-time support across infection diagnosis, microbiology-result interpretation, and treatment recommendations. We find that AI substantially reduces total antibiotic dose, the probability of prescribing, and the number of antibiotic types. These changes coincide with significant declines in patient revisit rates, implying improved patient health. Two mechanisms account for these effects. First, AI improves diagnosis–prescription concordance for infection related cases: prescription error rates fall and prescription accuracy rises. Second, AI reallocates physicians’ time and resources: diagnostic time shortens while time and services devoted to downstream treatment increase. Heterogeneity analysis reveals substantial variation across physicians. Improvements are larger for lower-skill, less-experienced, and female physicians. Disaggregation by skill type shows a complementary pattern: physicians with weaker clinical reasoning skill gain most in diagnosis–prescription concordance, whereas those with stronger skill expand therapeutic engagement more. Finally, AI yields larger gains for simple cases while still delivering smaller, yet positive, benefits for complex cases. Overall, our results suggest that AI deployment in a high-stakes setting reshapes both practice and within-group performance disparities.
